The roller inlet box refers to rolling and may be used in the construction of rolling mills, mainly for finishing stands of the section or wire mills. Into the box, containing a body, there are installed passes, the internal surfaces of which form a conic inlet, including a working sector and roller holders with roller assemblies.Novelty consists in that each pass is additionally provided with an accessory insert of wear resistant material, placed in the region of the pass working sector.The result consists in increasing 7...10 times the service life of the box with passes of a built-up construction.Claims: 1Fig.: 2 |
