<p>The device for the collection and removal of fumes of electric arc furnaces consists of a chassis (1), which features openings (5), with electrodes (6) running through them, and an opening (11), which features an outlet channel (12), which is on the opposite end, usually outside the premises, where the furnace is located, inserted into a dedusting filter (13) with a suction fan (13') connected after it. Between each of the electrodes (6) and the corresponding opening (5) which it is running through, there is a circular slot (7), while the fitting of the chassis (1) on the furnace cover (2) is made with spacers (8), resulting in gaps (10) between the lower end of the chassis (1) and the cover (2).</p> |
