PURPOSE: An airbag door for a vehicle is provided to prevent a damage of a wind shield glass owing to an impact when the airbag door is opened by forming a notch type recess at a center of a foam layer of the airbag door and installing a spring having a restoring force at an inside of the foam layer. CONSTITUTION: A notch type recess(16) is formed at an intermediate portion of a foam layer of an airbag door in a traverse direction, and a part of a door layer(12) is exposed at a leading end of the notch type recess. A spring(18) having a storing force is installed at an inside of the foam layer(14). Both end of the spring is formed as a hook type, and the hook of the spring is latched at a pin formed at both sides of the foam layer. The airbag door(10) is opened when the vehicle is collided, and at the same time, an airbag(20) is expanded by injecting gas into the airbag by an inflater(22). The opened door is not collided into a windshield glass by the spring having the storing force. |
