PURPOSE: A brake system for a non-hydraulic vehicle is provided to simplify the structure and to keep stable braking performance by converting the operating force of the pedal into an electric signal and pressurizing a brake disk with the rotary power, and braking a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A brake system for a non-hydraulic vehicle comprises a sensor(10), a control unit(20), and a caliper. The sensor senses the operation capacity of the brake pedal(Pa). The control unit processes the signal of the sensor and produces a control signal according to the predetermined logic. The caliper produces magnetic force according to the signal transmitted from the control unit and pressurizes a brake disk. The caliper comprises a housing(1) divided into a first and second chamber(1',1"), a first magnetic(31) pushing or pulling a pad plate(3a), and a second magnetic(32) connected to the control unit by an electric signal wire(32a). Therefore stable braking is performed. In addition, the operating force of the brake pedal is transmitted to the caliper by not hydraulics but the electric signal and therefore the time of braking is reduced.
