PURPOSE: A rear seat folding apparatus of a vehicle is provided to release locking of a seat back by operating a lever, and to fold a rear seat conveniently by releasing locking of a striker and a latch. CONSTITUTION: A rear seat folding device of a vehicle is composed of cables(30,30') connected to latches; a driven lever combined with an installation bracket to turn, and connected to cables through connecting pins(32,32'); and an operating lever(24) mounted in the installation bracket by a hinge(22) to turn the driven lever and pull cables with turning the lower part in rotating a knob(26). The installation bracket is fixed in the rear part of a seat back by the hinge. The operating lever is turned around the hinge in pushing the knob to enlarge the loading space, and the driven lever is pressed. Latches are pulled with pulling cables by turning the driven lever, and the seat back is folded conveniently with releasing locking of a striker and the latch. Convenience is improved with folding the rear seat by releasing locking of the seat back.
