PURPOSE: A universal joint connection structure of a steering system is provided to prevent accidents by making the basic steering force between a coupling and a stopper bracket maintained even when rubber is stiffen and damaged. CONSTITUTION: A universal joint(122) is connected between an upper shaft(108) and a lower shaft(110) by a stopper bracket(120) and a coupling(124). A universal joint connection structure of a steering system is composed of a hollow pipe, a safety bolt(5), and a safety bracket(3). The hollow pipe is supported to the coupling by rubber and protruded to both sides of the coupling. The safety bolt penetrates the stopper bracket and the hollow pipe so that the stopper bracket can be stuck fast to an end of the hollow pipe. The safety bracket is fixed to the safety bolt to be stuck fast to the other end of the hollow pipe. The stopper bracket and safety bracket is coupled to both sides of the hollow pipe by the safety bolt and the hollow pipe cannot be dislocated. Therefore, steering force is transmitted continuously.
