PURPOSE: An automatic brake light changed according to the intensity of braking is provided to prevent accidents by displaying the braking state variously according to the intensity, and to reduce fuel and pollution by minimizing unnecessary braking. CONSTITUTION: A variable brake light is composed of a casing(1), an impact detecting metal weight support spring(2), an impact detecting weight(3), an inertia detecting metal weight(5), a tension adjusting screw(5) for an inertia detecting spring, an inertia detecting metal weight support spring(6), a sudden braking detecting terminal(7), a heavy braking detecting terminal(8), a slow braking detecting terminal(9), an output terminal of a braking point(10), a starting key terminal(11), and a collision detecting terminal(12). The sensing part of the inertia sensor is subdivided, and information on impact or centrifugal force is digitized. Traffic accidents are prevented with displaying the intensity of braking to the following vehicle through the brake light.
