PURPOSE: A variable volume fuel tank is provided to indicate the fuel amount by adjusting the volume of the fuel tank according to fuel pressure and external pressure with simple structure, and to prevent explosion by reducing latent heat of fuel and static electricity. CONSTITUTION: A variable volume fuel tank is composed of a tank body(10) having an air injection part(11), a fuel injection port(12), and a fuel discharge port(13); a push plate(20) installed vertically in the tank body to move right and left; a guide member(30) having plural saw teeth(31) engaged with a tooth piece(23); a guide supporting member(40) having insertion parts(41) in both ends for fitting both ends of the guide member; a buffer spring(50) placed between the guide member and the guide supporting member; and an electromagnet(60) placed in the upper part of the guide member. A shaft rod(61) is installed in the electromagnet, and moved up and down according to magnetic field. The tooth piece is installed in the push plate, and buffed by a buffer spring(22). The fuel amount is displayed simply with varying the volume of the fuel tank according to fuel pressure and external pressure. Explosion is prevented with restricting latent heat and static electricity.
