PURPOSE: A portable phone is provided to easily scan information by making the display surface of a display panel exposed to the external, to reduce the thickness, and to extend the duration of a battery. CONSTITUTION: A portable phone is comprised of a main body(10), a display part(30), a withdrawal location, and a hinge part(50). The main body(10) has a plurality of buttons to input signals from the external. The display part(30) is combined with the main body(10) so that the display surface of a display panel(35) can be exposed to the external. The withdrawal location, filled between the main body(10) and the display part(30), makes the display part(30) arranged in the form of a layer for the main body(10). The hinge part(50) connects between the unfolding locations developed so as to be extended along the direction of the length of the main body(10).
