The invention relates to a storage unit for use under a washbasin or similar sanitary facility. The storage unit comprises a base and an upright wall at least partially surrounding said base, being adaptable to among other things the shape of the sanitary facility, an upper edge substantially being properly adjacent to an underside of the sanitary facility. Furthermore, the storage unit comprises rolling or sliding means, hereby being easily movable or slideable across a surface, hereby leaving open the top side of the storage unit for the purpose of depositing articles into it or removing them from it, e.g. laundry. Furthermore, the invention relates to a building kit for such storage unit, building components of said building kit being made of material that can easily be remodelled by a do-it-yourselfer, at least can be bent and/or cut into, such as sheet material. |
