PURPOSE: A method for storing a call list of a telephone is provided to prevent identical telephone numbers from being stored in the call list several times in case that a user uses a telephone number frequently. CONSTITUTION: If a new call is generated(31), a telephone compares the dialed telephone number with the telephone numbers stored in the memory(32). In case that a matched number exists(33), the telephone shifts the telephone number to the register and stores it temporarily(34). In this case, the memory address, in which the matched number was stored, gets empty, and the telephone numbers stored in the previous addresses are shifted address by address on the basis of the empty memory address(35). Accordingly, the telephone number stored temporarily in the register is stored in the empty initial address(36).
