PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of making humidity distribution in an electrolyte film uniform and improving the water draining property. SOLUTION: (1) The fuel cell 10 which is the solid polymer fuel cell 10 is constituted by arranging supply ports 27b, 28b, discharge ports 27c, 28c, and gas flow passages 27a, 28a for fuel gas and oxidation gas so that the direction of lamination of cells is perpendicular to the direction of gravity and humidity distribution on reaction faces on the anode side and the cathode side become reverse to each other. (2) The fuel cell 10 is constituted such that the cell has a refrigerant flow passage 26 and a refrigerant flow is set so that the humidity distribution of a cathode corresponds to temperature distribution. (3) The fuel gas flow passage 27a and an oxidation gas flow passage 28a are inclined downward in the horizontal direction or in the downstream direction. (4) The gas flow passage has a recessed part 29 on a lower face of the passage. |
