<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel type liquid crystal display which is light weight and thin and in which optical transmission factor loss is low and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In this touch panel type liquid crystal display provided with a liquid crystal display unit and a touch panel unit, the liquid crystal display unit includes at least a 1st substrate, a 2nd substrate and a lower polarizing plate, the touch panel unit is located at one side being opposite from the liquid crystal layer of the 1st substrate and includes an upper polarizing plate located at one side being opposite from the 1st substrate, a plurality of 1st electrodes inserted between the upper polarizing plate and the 1st substrate and located on the surface of the 1st substrate, a plurality of 2nd electrodes located between the polarizing plate and the 1st substrate and a plurality of dot spacers located between the upper polarizing plate and the 1st substrate, and the 1st electrodes and the 2nd electrodes cross each other. The touch panel type liquid crystal display is further and selectively provided with a back light module for a liquid crystal display light source.</p> |
