PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflecting surface designing method for the reflecting mirror of vehicular lamp which improves the controllability of a luminous intensity distribution pattern and the efficiency of design work and to provide a reflecting surface design system and a recording medium. SOLUTION: The number of base points, the Y coordinate of each base point P and a reflection direction at each base point P are designated with respect to a plurality of base points P used to generate the reflecting surface RS, the respective positions of the plurality of base points P are decided on the basis of those designated parameters, an XY curve Q is generated and a plurality of XZ curves R are further generated. The surface shape of the reflecting surface RS is generated on the basis of the generated XY curve Q and the plurality of generated XZ curves R. |
