PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a cell which have better self-discharge restriction function than previous separator. SOLUTION: The separator for the cell has sulfur containing functional group on the surface of a sheet, and the sulfur containing functional group has resonance or sulfur-oxygen double bond in an electrolyte liquid. The sulfur containing functional group expressed by the formula (I) or formula (II) are recommended, and it is preferable that the content of sulfur containing functional group expressed by the formula (I) in the total sulfur containing functional group is 10% or more. Further, it is preferable that the inside of a sheet forming resin is made of polyolefin group resin. In the formulae, R, R' represent alkyl group. |
