PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and easily install an image pickup means at optimum installing positions in vertical and horizontal directions by providing a position regulating means for regulating the position, where the image pickup means such as a digital camera is installed, with respect to a screen. SOLUTION: The video adjusting device 1 is composed of a video display device 2, a calculating means 8 and an adjusting part 9, which are required for performing calibration, the digital camera 7 being the image pickup means and the position regulating means 10. The position regulating means 10 is composed of a vertical regulating member 10a for regulating the installing position in the vertical direction of the digital camera 7 with respect to the screen 5 and a horizontal regulating member 10b for regulating the installing position in the horizontal direction of the digital camera 7. For performing calibration, the horizontal regulating member 10b is opened in the horizontal direction with respect to the screen 5 with a hinge 11b as a rotary shaft. Then, the vertical regulating member 10a, to which the digital camera 7 is fitted, is turned in the vertical direction with respect to the screen 5 with a hinge 11a as a rotary shaft. Thus, the digital camera 7 can easily be installed in the optimum position.
