PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of executing an adding work such as changing the number of copies without making it necessary to operate the re-reading of an original picture even during picture recording operation. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a reading means for reading an original picture by photoelectric conversion, and for obtaining picture data, a picture data storing means for storing the read picture data, a picture recording means for performing picture recording based on the picture data selectively read from the picture data storing means, an input means for performing various input setting operations, and a control means for controlling the picture data storing means and the picture recording means according to the input setting operations of the input means. When the prescribed input setting operation is performed by the input means while the picture recording is performed by the picture recording means based on the picture data read from the picture data storing means, the control means controls the picture data storing means to continuously store and hold the picture data even after the picture recording operation is ended so that the picture recording can be further performed by the picture recording means based on the stored and held picture data. |
