PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time of mounting work of an electronic component onto a connector and to reduce the number of parts constituting the connector. SOLUTION: The connector is provided with a plurality of female terminals 30 extended up and down and a connector main body 11 holding the plurality of the female terminals in a state aligned back and forth at both left and right ends of an insertion concave part opening upward. The female terminal 30 has at its top end 31 a pair of upper terminal pieces 33 facing each other bifurcated back forth, which can elastically deform back and forth. The connector 10 can accommodate an electronic component 1 having a plurality of male terminals 5 aligned back and forth at both left and right end parts and protruded downward inside the insertion concave part 17. Once the electronic component 1 is accommodated inside the insertion concave part 17, middle parts 5b of the plurality of the male terminals are pinched by the corresponding pair of the upper terminal pieces 33 to be electrically connected and the electronic component 1 is mounted and held inside the insertion concave part 17.
