PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a random access device for a SDRAM which can read out data at high speed. SOLUTION: When one line is an even number, nothing is performed for a SDRAM 30 by increasing external addresses of an external address signal from an access control section by two times. Thereby, even if original one line is an even number, one line is made an odd number. Consequently, when after picture data of one line in a main scanning direction is stored in the SDRAM 30, the picture data is read out in the direction of a sub-scanning direction, bank 0 - bank 3 are rotated successively without fail. Therefore, pre-charge is hidden apparently, picture data can be read out at high speed.
