PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk unit in which the rotation of a rotary tray and the opening/closing operation of a slide tray can be done only by one driving motor, and which has the reduced number of parts, and simplified structure, without using a planetary gear and a belt, resulting in reduced cost. SOLUTION: The disk unit is provided with a driving gear 2, attached to a driving shaft of a driving motor 1, a center gear 7 engaged with the drive gear 2, fitted over a center shaft 3 by insertion and provided with a guide peripheral groove 4, a control gear 5 and a large gear 6, a moving lever 9 for control engaged with the groove 4 and fitted over a short shaft 8 by insertion, a cam body 11 having a cam groove 11a attached to the lower part of a side shaft part 10 and in which the lever 9 is fitted, a side shaft pat rotating gear 12 attached to the side shaft part 10 and engaged with the gear 5, an opening/closing gear 14 attached to the side shaft part 10 and engaged with the large gear 6 and a rack 3 to open/close the side tray S, and a rotary tray rotating gear 16 engaged with the large gear 6 and a circular rack 15 of the rotary tray R.
