PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time series information storing/reproducing device that realizes quick and easy retrieval in the case of subsequently retrieving contents by performing storage processing of event data with respect to a recording medium of a fixed capacitance so as to improve the retrieval efficiency. SOLUTION: An importance threshold defining means 8 defines such an importance threshold that increases more as time elapses. An event data filtering means 9 efficiently files the event data whose value reduces more as time elapses from the recording medium because event data having importance being smaller than the importance threshold is eliminated from an event data storing means 7.
