PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the first printing time from a power saving mode by starting the starting operation of an image forming apparatus before various printing conditions are set. SOLUTION: At a printing request mode at which a user selects the image forming apparatus 4 through the control panel of terminal equipment 2 and makes the apparatus 4 to print arbitrary data, a starting request command is transmitted from terminal equipment 2 to the image forming apparatus 4 so that the starting operation is started by judging the state of the selected image forming apparatus prior to input of the various printing conduction. The starting operation of the selected image forming apparatus 4 is then started.
