PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output device that classifies thumbnail images on the basis of image attached information. SOLUTION: A Smart Media stores the image attached information, such as a photographing date and a photographer corresponding to image data in addition to the image data. In the case of designating the classification of thumbnail images generated by reducing the image data by 'photographing date', the thumbnail images are classified into images 57, 58 by each 'photographing date' recorded in the image attached information. The thumbnail images 57, 58 are outputted as index prints 55, 56 on separate pages by each classification. The classification condition is indicated by an indication 59 on a blank of the index prints 55, 56. A user can easily retrieve a desired picture among the thumbnail images 57, 58 classified by the 'photographing date'. |
