PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data extracting method capable of accurately performing intentional extraction for selecting result data having a specific constitution ratio of two-dimension or more as a data extraction technique for extracting a fixed amount of data from a database. SOLUTION: This data extracting method for extracting a set of predetermined data from the population data group comprises a step for setting a data attributes constitution ratio of data serving as element of the set of data to be extracted, a step for obtaining extractable amount serving as an amount of corresponding data existing in the population data group and having the attributes, a step for calculating an amount of extracted data serving as an amount of data to be extracted from the population data group for each of the attributes according to the set constitution ratio, and a step for adjusting the amount of extracted data so that the amount of extracted data is set below the extractable amount and the constitution ratio is maintained within a fixed range if an amount of extracted data on a predetermined attribute among the amounts of extracted data calculated according to the constitution ratio exceeds an extractable mount of the corresponding data having this attribute.
