PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging system for performing charging adjusted to an added value, which means shorter printing time, when dispersing jobs into a plurality of printers and performing printing. SOLUTION: When page constitution and the number of copies are inputted in a screen 110 of a server 10 and an OK key 113 is depressed, a print cost per sheet which corresponds to the number of printers used, is displayed. When 200 copies of a document constituted of 50 pages is printed, for example, they can be printed at 10,000 yen with one printer, but a long printing time is required. If five printers are exclusively used, each of the printers prints 40 copies of a document of 50 pages, and therefor printing can be completed by 1/5 time. When the user judges that reduction of time deserves payment, printing is performed at five-fold charge, namely, at 50,000 yen by depressing an OK key 122. |
