PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substitute collection method and device for substitutively collecting for a providing system the charge of contents or non-contents provided to a customer in the providing system of contents or non-contents. SOLUTION: A charging server 5 of a substitute collecting entrepreneur 21 carries out the membership registration of a customer 1, who is about to receive contents distribution. A contents server 4 of ASP, CSP 11 transmits contents to the customer, in response to the contents request of the customer when confirming that the customer is a legal member, on the basis of a user ID and a password form the customer 1, generates charging basic information on the basis of a communication log of the contents, and sends it to the charging server 5. The charging server 5 calculates the charge of the contents, on the basis of the charging basic information from the contents server 4 and asks the customer for the charge. |
