PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display of a virtual shop (for example, a clothing sales floor) in a screen of a personal computer connected to a network, so that a user can freely stroll around, see commodities, confirm a try-on image on the screen, and receive a description of a commodity by calling on a sales clerk of the sales floor, when necessary. SOLUTION: This on-line shopping system is composed of a server, having three-dimensional image data showing a scene of the sales floor or the like, and a terminal (a user terminal or a sales clerk terminal) generating the virtual shop in three-dimensional space, on the basis of the three dimensional image data and displaying the virtual shop and commodity information on the display screen. The customer terminal is provided with a means for movably displaying the scene of the virtual shop, according to a change of positional information by a moving operation of the user by communication with the server, a means of displaying details of a commodity selected according to a commodity-selecting operation of the user, and a means of giving guidance on the commodity, according to the commodity description demand operation of the user. |
