PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement data collection system that can transmit measured data even when a fault takes place in a repeater. SOLUTION: Repeaters 4-8 and measurement devices 9-12 are set to transmit data to higher hierarchical levels at all times. Notice information incorporates the hierarchical levels (I-III) and the repeaters 4-8 transmit the information at any time for a prescribed period. The repeaters 4-8 and the measurement devices 9-12 store the newest repeater hierarchical level and the reception sensitivity to their internal memories. When the measurement device 10 transmits the measured data, the measurement device 10 transmits the data to the repeater 5 or 4 belonging to a hierarchical level higher than the hierarchical level II to which the measurement device 10 belongs. Furthermore, the repeater 5 or 4 transmits the measurement data to a collection center 1 via a public base station 3 and a PHS public network 2 through the shortest route.
