RECORDING METHOD FOR RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording method for a recording medium that gets out of a rut in video image reproduction and keeps sharpness of video contents for a long time. SOLUTION: The recording medium has data areas and index areas and the data areas record objects including moving picture data. The index areas include sub areas, and recording addresses of a group of objects selected among the objects recorded in the data areas (Figure 8 (a)), a flag denoting reproducing them at random and number of repetitive times of random reproduction is recorded to each sub area (Figure 8 (b)).
