PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime preventing device with high-grade function, having a crime preventing function and evidence acquiring function in simple constitution and applicable to the use in a general individual dwelling house, a small- scale enterprise office and the like. SOLUTION: This crime preventing device is provided with an image processing part 2a for converting an image pickup signal from a home video camera 1 to an image signal, a detecting part 2b for detecting a mover according to the image signal and outputting the detection signal, a warming operating part 2e for operating a warning device 3 according to the detection signal, an image storage part 2c for processing and storing an image signal, a signal processing part 2d for converting an image signal to an image transmission signal, and an interface part 2f for transmitting the image transmission signal to a remote center terminal.
