JOINT SIMULATION METHOD FOR DIGITAL CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a very fast simulation speed. SOLUTION: In this method for performing a joint simulation of a digital circuit by using a simulation engine (45), the digital circuit communicates with one or more first programming languages and also communicates directly with one or more second programming languages by using a heterogeneous language interface. At least one of the first models (2 and 3) or at least one first part of the digital circuit is provided in at least one high order hardware description language that supports a simultaneous process for mutually performing communications.
