PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to enlarge operation margin and reduce erroneous discharge so as to simultaneously drive R,G,B cells arranged in a delta form. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises a scan/sustain electrode and a common sustain electrode formed in parallel in each discharge cell, and an address electrode orthogonal to the scan/sustain electrode and the common sustain electrode. The discharge cells are arranged as deltas. A pixel line is formed by two discharge cell lines. In order to avoid increase of addressing time, two scan/sustain electrodes(Y1) lines are commonly coupled to simultaneously drive cells of two discharge cell lines. The address electrode is formed as a hexagon like the cell to increase the area of the electrode and facilitate electron emission and thus reduce addressing time and addressing voltage. |
