PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a KANA(Japanese syllabary)-KANJI(Chinese character) conversion system which can provide suitable Japanese input environment. SOLUTION: A terminal device 1 and a dictionary server device 2 are connected to each other through data communication parts 17 and 23, and the terminal device 1 has an input part 10, a display part 16, a KANA-KANJI dictionary storage part 11 which stores a basic vocabulary, a KANA-KANJI detail dictionary storage part 12 where detailed vocabularies by users are downloaded from a dictionary server and saved, a KANA-KANJI conversion part 13, a PIM data storage part 14, and an update history management part 15 which manages the update history of PIM data and the dictionary server device 2 has a detail dictionary data storage part 20, a company database storage part 21, and a detail dictionary selection part 22. |
