PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize a word processor, an electronic dictionary, a portable telephone, etc., which enable the word processing of many words, documents, etc., through less-frequency key input by repetition by homonyms of candidates such as words as objects of word processing by identical key input and the word processing of words, etc., translated to respective national languages having the same meaning with one word, etc., as a language for world word candidates. SOLUTION: When, for example, a Japanese document is inputted from an input device 21 and translated into an English document, a key input which is a spelling of part of, for example, an English word and includes Roman characters is registered for an abbreviated system key input. The input characters include only at least one upper-case or lower-case character, and a spelling which is not general as a Japanese word is allocated to a key input and registered as a world word candidate language in a setting and registration dictionary device 23 where related words, etc., are stored by referring to a grammar dictionary device 22. When conversion and reading are performed, the spelling of the part of the word is inputted from the input device 21, a word processing conversion device 24 converts and reads it by referring to the dictionary device 23, and an output display device 25 displays the read result. |
