<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of a conventional uninterruptible power supply unit, which is generally constituted of a single device and externally connected to one or a plurality of loads when it is connected with an electronic apparatus such as personal computes, making ensured setting positions difficult to obtain and a connection work complicated, and to solve the problems of conventional storage batteries being unable to provide a scale advantage, measures against the deterioration of active materials or catalysts, and a heat transfer plane accommodating heating and endothermic caused by charging and discharging, and also having small energy density. SOLUTION: This uninterruptible power supply unit using a three-dimensional battery (which is defined as a substance formed by powdering and keeping active materials in electrolyte solution, in a pair of cells and layering a plurality of sets of cells) is built in an electronic apparatus such as a personal computer and the like, thereby requiring no setting positions nor connection work. The three-dimensional battery can be expected to exhibit effects such as large scale advantage, possible recycling and replacement, if the powder of the active material or the catalyst deteriorates, and increases in energy generating efficiency, energy utilization rate, and energy density.</p> |
