PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform program searching of a cassette tape or the like by a simple operation without using a program searching key to be exclusively used. SOLUTION: In a cassette reproduction mode, a microcomputer 4 detects the rotating direction of an encoder 5 and the number of click rotation times and performs the program searching of the cassette tape in a cassette reproduction means 5. The encoder 5 makes the tuning frequency of a radio receiver 1 up and down in time of a radio reception mode by the rotating direction of the encoder and is capable of performing the program searching of a CD and/or MD in a CD/MD reproducing device 3 in time of CD/MD reproduction mode.
