<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power controller capable of scrupulously defining the lower power consumption operation of a processor by a user and realizing an event-driven system. SOLUTION: This power controller is provided with a power table 20 provided with a plurality of power control registers 21 for storing respective pieces of power control information in a rewritable way, a condition deciding device 30 for storing a plurality of operation conditions (e.g. comparison address to program counter 11) in a rewritable way, deciding which operation condition is satisfied by the current operation of the processor among the plurality of operation conditions and supplying an index signal so as to select any among the plurality of power control registers 21 in accordance with the results of this decision, and a voltage/clock controller 40 for controlling the power consumption of a control object circuit block 15 according to the power control information in the power control register 21 selected by the index signal.</p> |
