PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for concealing defective pixels in image sensors, by which the provision of an external storage means, is unnecessitated, the testing on every occasion, so as to program defective pixels is unnecessitated and moving defect pixels for the use of a user can be concealed and to provide a computer-readable recording medium in which a program to realize the method is recorded. SOLUTION: This apparatus includes a light source for testing defective pixel searching, and also includes a sensing means to receive an image of an actual object, a control means that discriminates whether or not an image frame received, via the sensing means has defective pixels and stores their position information in order to test the defective pixel searching, and an image correction means, that compares the defective pixel position information from the control means with a pixel position of the image frame of the actual object received via the sensing means to conceal the defective pixels.
