PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker that can provide ease of handling or the like, obtain a sufficient sound volume utilizing joule heating. SOLUTION: The speaker utilizing the joule heating is provided with a silicon wafer 1, a heat insulation layer 2 formed by applying anodic oxidation to part of the silicon wafer 1 and a heat generating electrode 3 made of aluminum formed on the heat insulation layer 2.
