PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a cell with excellent gas permeability and low resistant property. SOLUTION: Polyolefin powder of very big molecular weight with the volume density of 3.0×102/L-8.0×102/L is burned with the temperature exceeding its melting point, and formed into a porous sheet with the thickness of 50-500μm by shaving, and a hydrophilic treatment is applied after stretching out.
