PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease imbalance between loads on front and rear wheels while securing the easiness in performing a maintenance service to a storage battery 25 in a traveling agricultural machine whose traveling, mechanism unit 1 that has an operator's seat 4 and supported by front wheels 2 and rear wheels 3 is provided with a traveling transmission mechanism; an internal combustion engine 7 that supplies power to the traveling transmission mechanism; a power generating electric motor 12 that works both as a generator driven by the engine and as an electric motor that supplies power to the traveling transmission mechanism; and a storage battery 25 for powering the power generating electric motor 12. SOLUTION: The operator's seat 4 and the traveling transmission mechanism 8 are provided at a part on the front wheel side of the traveling mechanism unit 1, and the internal combustion engine 7 and the power generating electric motor 12 are provided at a part on the front wheel side, The storage battery 25 is provided at the front part farther from the front wheels 2.
