PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique capable of using both of live broadcast (live stream) and video recording broadcast (stored stream) by single distribution equipment. SOLUTION: This stream distribution method for distributing at least single stream broadcast toward at least a single client distribute a single stream data to respective broadcasting contents to one or plural clients simultaneously, stores stream data to the broadcasting contents inside of a stream distribution device from the start of broadcasting and receives a viewing request individually from one or plural clients to simultaneously realize quasi-live distribution in which operation for reading the stored stream data retroactively to a time point which is a prescribed time before the time of receiving this received viewing request and distributing it is performed by each client.
