摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a battery in an optimum charged state and also restrain the driver from recognizing a shift in a charging/discharging state. SOLUTION: An energy control method 10 for a hybrid electric vehicle controls a motion in a discharging mode and a charging mode. For the control method 10, the user sets a value of a power level when a battery is charged (step 12). The power level is used to compute a torque command to be transmitted to an electric vehicle. For this method 10, the user sets a shifting region 22 related to the motion of an electric vehicle partitioned by the upper and lower limiting values of the speed. The target torque is computed by applying a numerical formula which is a function of power level, a specified limit value, and a boundary value before, in, and after the shifting region 22.
