PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the thinning of an optical pickup being required, accompanying the progress of thinning a CD-R/RW drive built into a portably used note type computer. SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser 2 is provided with a cylindrical stem 2a, the bottom part of which is formed to the cut surface 2d, and on a semiconductor laser-mounting part 1 of a housing where the semiconductor laser 2 is mounted, a partially opened cylindrical mounting hole 3 is arranged, so that the cut surface 2d is exposed, then the cut surface 2d is pressed by a pressurizing plate 4 which is fixed to the semiconductor laser mounting part 1, so as to fix the semiconductor laser 2. |
