PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record data in such a manner that reading errors of data are decreased. SOLUTION: A pulse generator 35 and switching circuits 41 to 43, etc., output the pulse train signals corresponding to recording data to an operation control circuit 50 which intermittently operates a laser diode 11a according to the pulse train signals and intermittently radiates the laser beams from a laser beam source 11. The state of the phase transition recording film of the optical disk 20 is changed by the radiated laser beams. The intensity of the laser beams generated within the prescribed time from the respective operation starts of the laser beam source 11 according to the pulse train signals is controlled higher than the intensity of the laser beams generated from the laser beam source 11 thereafter in the radiation of the laser beams described above. As a result, the temperature rising characteristic of the phase transition recording film is improved and the recording accuracy of the data is improved even in rising of the pulse signals. |
