PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare earth magnet unit which has small magnetic loss, is naturally capable of relaxing thermal stresses produced between a rare earth magnet and a soft magnetic substance, and gives equivalent effects with respect to a rare earth magnet having a large bonding area. SOLUTION: An intermediate member 3 is interposed between a rare earth magnet 1 and a soft magnet substance 4; they are bonded together, and at least either of these joint 2 is brazed; and the intermediate member 3 is formed of porous metal magnetic material.
