PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bilateral information exchange system which confirms whether or not a party having received an exchange request exchanges information when personal information is exchanged between two parties. SOLUTION: When a user 21 desired to exchange personal information with a user 22, the user 21 sends a request to exchange information with a use 22 to an information managing server 2 through a user terminal 11. The information managing server 2 sends a confirmation request to a user terminal 12 to confirm whether the user 22 exchanges information with the user 21 the user 22 inputs a reply to the confirmation request through the user terminal 12. An information exchange server 2 sends personal information of the users 21 and 22 to the user terminals 11 and 12 when the replay received from the user terminal 12 indicates that 'information is exchanged'.
