The circuit boards are assembled perpendicular to each other. The first is provided with slots and the second has projecting tabs which align with these slots, in order to allow the second board to be securely fitted to the first board. The printed circuit mother board (1) is intended to accommodate a printed circuit daughter board (2) perpendicular to its surface with secure attachment. The mother board is provided with at least one, and preferably two cut-out regions on opposite edges of the rectangle of card. The daughter board includes corresponding projecting tabs (22) which can be received within these slots, ensuring accurate alignment of the two boards. The daughter board may be cut away along a substantial part of the edge which meets the mother board, thus leaving the necessary projecting tabs to form the joint. |
