ULTRASONIC RECEIVE SIGNAL DETECTOR USING DIFFERENCE OF PEAK VALUES

PURPOSE: An ultrasonic receive signal detector is provided to obtain an accurate ultrasonic receive signal reaching time through the peak value difference detector for distinguishing the noise signal from the ultrasonic signal. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic receive signal detector comprises a comparator(3) for comparing the ultrasonic signal received in the receiver unit, with a DC voltage source(2) serving as a reference; a peak value detector(6) for taking, as an input, the received ultrasonic signal, and detecting the peak value for the ultrasonic signal; and a main signal processing unit(5) for distinguishing the noise signal and the ultrasonic signal from the width of pulse signal, by comparing the width of pulse signal output through an output terminal(4) of the comparator and the peak value of the ultrasonic signal output from the peak value detector.
