PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that has high strength in the front face of enclosure, so as to properly protect an optical system contained in the inside of the enclosure. SOLUTION: The imaging device is provided with an optical system 22 that is used to photograph an object, the enclosure 159 that has a front face 152 almost perpendicular to an optical axis of the optical system 22 and side faces 156, 158 adjacent to the front face 152, and an extract section 138, to which the optical system 22 is fitted and by which the optical system 22 is contained in/pulled out the enclosure 150 via the side face 158. |
